HHPNC Covid-related Activities

Principal Sarah Gilman of Garvanza Elementary school accepted the $3500 of gift cards funded by the HHPNC and organized and coordinated by Hunger Action LA.

Our Outreach Committee chair presenting gift bags from the Historical Highland Park Neighborhood Council to LAUSD official Titus Campos for their grab and go meal program.

The bags included $50 Visa gift cards, native plant seeds, reusable straws and other recycled material goods to promote our sustainability initiatives.

On November 20, 2020, Historic Highland Park NC partnered with CD1, CD14, the Arroyo Seco NC, and Foursquare Church to give away 700 meals, about 200 boxes of food from the LA Regional Food Bank, PPE, and free grocery bags.
