Notice of Availability (NOA) of the Draft Environmental Impact Report/ Environmental Assessment (EIR/EA) and Section 4(f) Evaluation and Notice of Public Hearing for the SR-110 Safety Enhancement  Project

What’s Being Planned? The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a project to improve motorist and worker safety by providing features to meet current design standards and reduce repetitive maintenance activities. All proposed improvements will be within Caltrans’ Right-of-Way. Caltrans is both the lead agency under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Why This Notice? Caltrans has studied the effects that the proposed project may have on the environment and community. The results of these studies are contained in an environmental document known as a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR)/Environmental Assessment (EA). The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of its completion and availability to any interested individuals, and to provide the public an opportunity to comment.

Where Can I View the DEIR? The Draft EIR/EA is available for viewing and download at The Draft EIR/EA is also available for review at the Arroyo Seco Library (6145 N. Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90042) and the South Pasadena Public Library (1100 Oxley St, South Pasadena, CA 91030).
